Fikardou Chalets is a recently renovated chalet in Phikardhou, where guests can make the most of its seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 33 km from Presidential Palace - Nicosia. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Very accomodating owners who welcomed us warmly with homemade cookies and lemonade, willing to assist (even carried my bags) and share the history of the village. A peaceful place to relax by the pool and connect to nature. A modern facility, a big enough room to accommodate couples with small kids, a kitchen equipped with all needed (cooker, coffee machine, small fridge, kettle, etc), comfy bed, shower with toiletries and freshly smelled towels and complimentary wine! Everything spotless. Darts and ping pong were on site for some fun! Our room (on the upper floor) gave us a spectacular sunset view! It is an authentic country house furnished with love and special artistic and aesthetic skills. Everything is furnished with vintage items and decorations. A vinyl jukebox from the second half of the 20th century with an excellent record collection is in operation and playing, as well as game boxes from the same period. Well furnished and decorated two bedrooms with separate bathrooms, kitchen, outdoor terrace and balcony. I was pleasantly surprised by the owner's note in Lithuanian language, with contact information, but it's a pity that I didn't get to meet the owner face to face. Entrance to the house with a combination lock. And hungry kittens, which we happily fed. There is a place to parking on the street near the house, but the street is narrow, but there is no problem for cars to pass, because the traffic here is not intense. A must walk in the authentic village of Askai, descending from the mountain, the spirit of a true Cypriot village…

The house is located right in the old city of Kakopetria, it is a traditional house, with a lot of traditional objects displayed. Although it is traditional the house provides all facilities needed for the stay. The owner of the house was very kind and responsive, check in was very smooth. The house was very clean and the area was very quiet. It has a wonderful balcony were can you have the breakfast together with local cats, with a wonderful view to the mountain. The house is near to restaurants and shops. The parking is just outside the old city. This is a very good location to explore Troodos mountain and the old painted churches as we did.

Had all the things we needed for a 3 day stay. Clean, great pool, easy access, washing machine, pool cat.

The holiday home provides a children's playground, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. It was traditional but also modern, the outside space was also really nice. we loved the family photos & enjoyed making friends with the cat. Comfy sofa, comfy beds, really nice showers, everything was lovely & clean, everything we needed was there. Maria went above & beyond, we would recommend this place to everyone. we also had a visit from the chickens this morning which we loved.

We stayed with 6 people in the Oikou Thea guest house for one night and everyone of us was so happy with this accommodation and didn’t want to leave this place. The house is big, freshly renovated, with the 5 stars hotels standards: clean, provided with new towels, shower gel & shampoos, welcome vine, sleepers, hairdryer etc. The house has a large terrace with the view on the mountains. There is one covered parking spot under the apartment . The host was in touch with us, the communication was easy and nice. Highly recommend this place for spending quality time !
