Location was supreme. Within 10 min walking distance to multiple beaches, restaurants, stores, mini supermarkets. The agent is very quick to respond to any concerns or questions. Stefano and Moreno are awesome hosts, the Playita beach a few minutes walk away is gorgeous, great vibe, chairs with shade, clear water. Owner/host was very communicative and checked in thru WhatsApp often. She wasn't on site but if I needed anything at all, I could reach her at any time. The cleaning lady lives on-site, so she was always available. 10 min walk to town area (grocery stores nearby) and 20-25 min walk to the beach. The street noise is loud in Samana but in my room it was not a problem (I shut windows and turned on the fan). I felt very comfortable and safe. The kitchen was nice, had everything one could need and there was even a wash machine if you needed to do some laundry. I ended up staying another 3 nights :)
