Located in Lugo, in a historic building, 9 km from Congress and Exhibiton Center, O Forno de Catuxa Cottage & Roman Wall is a recently renovated country house with a garden and shared lounge. We enjoyed talking with the owners who have recently converted the stone farmhouse that has been in the family for five generations. It is built on the original Roman foundations. We liked eating at the local restaurant and enjoying the quiet of the village far from modern lugo. Great hospitality. Our room featured a bathroom made to look like a forest. It is all part of the wonderful and whimsical artistic style of our stay.

An amazing house - large and spacious with plenty of room for groups to stay. The house had washing facilities and an outdoor area which was lovely to sit and enjoy. The host left lots of lovely breakfast goodies too! The house is located just 300 metres into the main area of Portomarin - easy to walk and very quiet at night which meant a great night's sleep.
