A nice base for many excursions during the week, such as to the beach (even by bus if you do not want to bother with parking - 35 min to St Jean de Luz), hiking in the beautiful mountains, kayaking and a visit to the caves of Sare. The tiny village of Sare center is on a 3 min walking distance so you have bakery, a really nice butcher, some shops and restaurants nearby. The house is well equipped and it was nice to have an outdoor barbecue and seating area. All communication with owners was easy and accommodating.
