The staff are amazing and the room was excellent - it was well furnished and super clean. The beach was an easy walk. The meals were great.

The family who owns this really sweet little place are kind, compassionate at what they are closing and go above and beyond to make everyone really nice. We were delayed I leaving by out taxi and Ashley made us delicious lemon, mint and ginger drinks. So refreshing and kind! The room was very comfortable, but we did hear prayers over a loud speaker at about 6:00 am. We were awake as we had come in on an all night flight. Other than that it was truly a wonderful stay. I especially loved her breakfast dosas and chai tea. We also loved that it was so close to the airport (TRV) and not far from shopping. We will most likely stay here again when we pass through. The cottages are super comfy, and the services are great, supplying you with everything you need and satisfying your request. The staff is particularly great, I was never treated so good during my travels, and this is something that make your stay from being very great to being perfect. Nothing can be improved from this point of view, people there are absolutely great, taking care of literally everything, and really caring about you. I absolutely suggest to come here, and when I'll have the chance to come back to India, I will 100% come to Kerala cottages again.

We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.

The cottage itself was cozy, spotless, and had all the amenities we could ask for, but the real star of the show was the location. The view of the lake from the private garden was absolutely breathtaking, and it was so incredibly peaceful. We spent our mornings sipping coffee and watching the mist rise off the water, and our evenings listening to the gentle sounds of nature. It was the perfect escape from the city. We'll definitely be back!
