My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and our son's 1st birthday and can I tell you, we regret nothing. Gilla Sur Mer is really beautiful. We stay in cottage 8 with the pool view and it was just breathtaking. We had complete privacy and that was a plus. If you like nature and the rustic vibe then Villa Sur Mer is the place for you. It was an exceptional experience and we can't wait to plan our next trip there. Thanks to all the amazing staff there as well. They were all accommodating

This place is Everything! I name escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. But still convient to get to most places. I would definitely recommend 10/10!

Shades is a great place to stay. the hosts are welcoming and cater to your needs. The food is delicious. The neighborhood includes beaches and sunsets; with live music in the evening. Taxis are available to take you anywhere. I enjoyed a quiet off season vacation and I would do it again.

Excellent location and accommodation, 4 to 5 km to Negril Beach, but the better beach is within the houses with a club swimming pool. In general, it is good to have a car to go around Jamaica.

Everything was great. The house was very clean and spacious. The property manager was already on site to give us access and a tour upon arrival. He was excellent with communicating with us throughout our stay. We felt very safe in the gated community. The pool was right next to the private beach which is beautiful and peaceful. There was also a convenient small shop inside the complex with snacks and other necessary items we needed. It was the perfect place to stay.

Villas Sur Mer is a lovely hotel in a wonderful spot in Negril. My one complaint is that we expected we'd be staying in a specific bungalow (the one with the curved roof) and instead we were put in the top floor of a duplex. It was fine, but we'd been really excited about the lovely stand alone bungalow and that's why we booked the place. On the plus side, there as a GORGEOUS waterfront view that you get to through an underground tunnel on the grounds of Villas Sur Mer. Truly magical. We spent a lot of time in that spot.
