The heater heated up the house very quick, so it was very warm. There’s a washing machine and laundry powder was provided, you could dry your clothes with the drying rack.

Within 5 mins drive to Farm Tomita and Furano was just a short 15 mins drive. Cottage was very cosy but do note that there might be small insects around.

She makes excellent breakfast, and we engaged in a lot of conversations about the attractions in Biei and where to go in the region. She even kindly offered me to join her shopping at a local supermarket and then drop me off at the train station when I checked out. The location is a 30 minute walk from the station. Quite far, but very relaxing if you want to do a slow-living lifestyle in a relaxing area like Biei 😄. I’m glad that I decided to stay here, it really made my experience in Biei a lot more memorable! P.S. The hotel has a Shiba Inu dog name Coro-chan. He is a very good boy, don’t forget to treat him well!

Wonderful place and wonderful people! It really surprised me and makes me feel like I’m home. The couple was very kind and offered to drive me to the station, which really helped me a lot. There is also a fireplace in the living room in the evenings, and sitting in the shared room and talking together was one of the happiest times I had in Hokkaido. Thank you for being so nice to me. I wish I could have stayed a few more nights.☺️

This recently renovated holiday home features a building dating back to 1975, which is 19 km from the Hokkaido Greenland. The house is located in the heart of Mikasa city, making it very convenient to travel around and explore the town. We especially enjoyed our stay during the Obon festival. The accommodation was excellent — spacious, well-ventilated, and very comfortable. Drinking water was also thoughtfully provided in the house. Overall, a great place to stay!
