When I got there they switch my room to a 10 beds dormitory because the Japanese room's AC is broken. I didn't like the dorm room so I ask them for that broken AC room. It is really cozy and nice, and I didn't mind the AC because the winds outside make up for it, especially in early morning it's amazing. Just beware of bugs flying inside, nothing harmful so far for me. Feels like I'm living in a countryside. The free reserved indoor bath is also really nice but a bit old.
Great stay in Hakone. The location is accessible from the bus system and is in a quiet area. The inn offers a shuttle to Gora station. They have a small restaurant that serves food and drinks during the day and into the evening. The restaurant/common area is very cozy with a fireplace and views of a rock garden and mountains. They let you reserve their onsen rooms for 40 minute blocks in the evening. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Nice staff, really nice „living room“ with fireplace in the centre, what was very comfy and cosy, Bar and restaurant included. Upstairs you have a nice view over the city and the lake. Didn’t got to know to anyone, but also didn’t intended to. Only negative thing: the doors of the „cubes“ you’re sleeping in were a bit loud, so was worried about waking someone, but everything else perfect! :)

The staff is lovely, the location is very convenient for Hakone (coming by car) and the fireplace in the entrance is very cosy.
The staff was really helpful and nice. We stayed in the cabins, which were very spacious and clean. The public bath and the outdoor onsen were really relaxing. Location was okay, there are 2 bus stops close to the hotel you can get to with a Hakone Free pass. There is also a big common room with kitchen and all, looked very cozy.

We booked a private room, which was small but comfortable. You can also make use of a locker, but we put our luggage in our private room. Place is cosy (especially around the fireplace) and clean. Breakfast is nice! Location is cool, near the lake. Only 2 restaurants in Motohakone were open when we stayed over (end of May), you can also order food and drinks at the accommodation.
