Both the villa and bungalow have open plan living room/kitchens and private outdoor dining areas with large teak tables. We stayed in the bungalow. It is huge and very comfortable. The pool is awesome. View from the water tower at Sunset was beautiful. BBQ night was very special in the yard with torches and a bonfire. Madu, his father and The team was extraordinary. Taking the kids fiddling in the pond, collecting chicken eggs and took us for a boat ride in Tissu lake for afternoon bird watching. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.

It was a really amazing stay. The host was so kind and helpful. The room was perfect. It was clean, nice and big bathroom, good beds, close to the pool. The dinner was very good too. We did a safari in Yala with his cousin. And also the beach dinner was like really good. We absolutely enjoyed it. We recommend it!

It was so peaceful just sitting on our balcony watching the animals walk and fly by. The two guys taking care of the place were very professional, friendly and accomadating. The included breakfast was amazing too! Definitely worth staying here!

Our stay at Udara's place was really amazing, Udara was behaving to us as the family, he took us also to many interesting places, prepared the delicious food for us together with his mother and arranged the beautiful trip to Yala Safari. It was probably our best stay in Sri Lanka. Also the villa and rooms were really beautiful, comfortable, with perfect air condition and strong wifi. Absolutely recommend and hope we will return in future!

The villa has a beautiful and unique interior, including a real tree, and has great views (I spotted an elephant from the rooftop!). The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. They repeatedly went out of their way to make sure we had the best possible experience. The amazing staff really made this hotel stand apart from others.

The place they have is a real oasis among those we visited so far, hidden away, quiet, calm and perfect to relax and rest after visiting Yala park. Cabanas are near the river and surrounded by garden which provides a little safari in front of your window: tens of birds, monitor lizards, mongooses and many others. Real gem. Try it!!!

Located in Tissamaharama, this villa is 8 km from Tissa Wewa and a 15-20 minute drive to the Yala National Park. The villa has air conditioning and free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. Beautiful, we had the entire villa which included private pool and huge garden at the lake. Many birds and other animals. House has a great architecture with many open spaces. Family is wonderful and they cook delicious. Note that there is nothing around where you can walk to, so dont count on going anywhere ( anyway you dont really need to as everything is taken care of)
