But above all we enjoyed meeting Marco, our host, who made us feel welcome, made sure we had everything we needed (including free bikes) and gave us great tips on things to do and see in the area. His family has lived in the area for hundreds of years and touring the house, grounds and wine cellar with him gave us a fascinating insight into the history and culture of the area, and Montengro in general. The early morning birdwatching boat trip with Marco on Lake Skadar was one of the highlights of our trip.Warmly recommended!
