The view from the living room is breathtaking, the whole house is full of activities, both adults and kids enjoyed every second of staying there. The host showed excellent hospitality, both before, under and after. We are coming back!

Beautiful spot near the lake (Hardanger Fjord), very peaceful amongst a small collection of holiday homes. Lots of walks nearby and a little playground next to the lake. The cabin was lovely, everything we needed and very comfortable. Lovely deck. Very responsive host.

Incredible to sit on the terrace in the morning sun. Perfect for morning yoga. What a view. And the villa itself smelt so lovely, that incredible smell of wood. Also the whole area was lush & wish we’d had more time at the villa & to explore. I’d love to live there!

We were on a 17-day road trip in Norway and we decided to stay in this cabin since it was nicely splitting our way from Bergen to Oslo, so it was mostly a tactical decision. We ended up having one of the best stays in our trip! The cabin is beautiful, nicely located a few meters from the road and only 10' walking from the Vøringsfossen waterfall, which was a huge surprise for us as we hadn't exactly realized the size of it and it added a lot to our stay. The host was very helpful and responded promptly to the very few questions we had. We eventually regretted we couldn't stay more.

The house is very well equipped and has a Norwegian authentic decoration which makes the experience unique. The house pictures in booking announcement does not make it justice, especially regarding the fjord views: it’s much prettier in real life :). The house is a bit away from main road, which makes it very quiet. Supermarket 2 min walking distance away and many amazing hiking paths nearby. Good communication with owner. We can see he has taken care of every detail before our arrival with even fresh flower at living room. One of our best experiences and will definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect - beautiful nature and possibilities of hikes to lakes. Cottage was super clean and had all the equipment needed including games, darts, and Nespresso machine with coffee capsules
