We took the rent-a-cab from airport (which Flossy helped us to book, super nice of her) and drove for ~30 min. The location is more or less situated in the center of Mahe from which you can have easy drivable access to good beaches like anse petite, anise royal, anse takamaka, etc. Only thing is parking is bit of a bother, other than that everything is good. One more thing, whenever you are traveling to this place, just do a google maps search of this place rather than going to the one linked with booking.com.

During my stay, a power outage affected the town due to bad weather, but the family immediately provided lights and candles for guests and even drove me to town and back. I’ve traveled the world, but I’ve never experienced such outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!

The beach is just a short walk away — we easily walked there with the kids. One of the highlights was the outdoor shower under the tree — such a unique and atmospheric experience. A perfect place for a comfortable family vacation!
