“Great location overlooking the Straits with nice garden. staff are great, very friendly. Have stayed here many times and meet friends. The hotel is frequented by locals and the food is good, if generally basic. They have an annexe building as well as the main hotel. Better to stay in the main building. The rooms are clean (in annexe) but not luxurious, more functional, but it suites our purpose. I stay here as meet friends once a year, I guess my wife would prefer a little more luxury but as a group of guys its fine!!”
“The overall ambiance of the Chateaux is quite wonderful, from the summer balcony facing the sea in the lounge, to all the quiet and quirky corners around the hotel and the swing in the grounds. I LOVED the fact that each floor does not display a number, instead a picture of sailing boats...the number of boats in the picture denotes the floor. How charming! And the sign in the bathroom about the dragon heating the water (never mind the dragon himself peering over the carpark wall!! A little bit magical. More of this please!”
“The breakfast each morning was fantastic, the room was very spacious and beautiful decor. Nice peaceful quiet place to stay. Staff were very friendly and polite made you feel very welcome on arrival and if anything was needed they got it straight away. I liked the fact that it was in a rural location but still not too far a drive away from Snowdon and Caernarfon and nearby towns like Bangor. Really enjoyed my stay here.”
“Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh. Quiet and peaceful. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Good size room, comfortable bed. Would stay again. If looking for a small hotel/ b & b in Anglesey we recommend you stay here!”
“A really luxurious location, better than the Chateaus in which we stay in France. The staff couldn't do enough and the food and wine were of a really high standard without being "cheffie and pretentious" which is sadly the case in many other hotels in the UK. It was refreshing not to be told that the Chef was waiting for his Michelin star, The food was locally sourced and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be making this an annual stay”
