The ambiance and the rustic charm of rural Puglia. The owners were professional and helpful and the stay was really comfortable. Perfect situated to visit the trulli of Alberobello. We especially loved the abundant breakfast.

This is an exceptional location. It's off the beaten pass and very quiet, but in a beautiful setting, there is a lovely pool, and is surrounded by fields of grapes and an olive grove. There is a vegetable garden, and the chef uses vegetables from that garden, along with meat from animals raised at the Masseria and wine from it's vineyard. Our room was composed of 3 linked Trulli - one the bedroom, a second the sitting room and the third a bedroom. However, despite this description, the feeling is very upscale and not rustic, and the very friendly and knowledgable staff made us feel that they could address any request that we might have. We had both a wonderful dinner and breakfast at the restaurant on a lovely terrace on the back of the main building that made us feel completely safe in regards to COVID. Overall, this is a 5 star facility based on any measure you'd like to use.

When I had to leave this place I nearly burst into tears, and thought I might chain myself to the nearest olive tree and refuse to go! It's one of the best places I've ever stayed. My partner and I and another couple stayed and had a house each so that we both had bedrooms "under the cone". These historic houses have been restored and done up by Aldo, the owner, to a very high standard and with a lot of thought e.g. the fact that the bedrooms are under the cone in all three of the houses there. They are beautiful. They are fully equipped with everything you need, comfortable and have lots of outside space. The setting for these houses is in Aldo's olive grove which again is a beautiful peaceful place to be, and to go for a walk in the morning. There are all kinds of other fruit trees too and you can help yourselves as much as you like. The location of this place is near Villa Castelli which isn't one of the tourist towns, but certainly offers all the amenities you need, like shops and a few places to eat within a couple of miles. It is slightly further away from the main tourist towns but only by 5-10 mins which to me was worth it to stay somewhere so amazing. Aldo the owner is lovely and will help with anything you need. You need a car to get out and about and I recommend taking some mosquito spray.

Can't recommend this masseria more! It was a wonderful visit and we wished we had stayed longer than 4 nights. We stayed in the trulli with balcony and it was quite spacious and extremely quiet with the thick walls - even though we were right next to the breakfast area we couldn't hear it until we stepped outside. Davide was very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night. Breakfasts were a highlight of our time in Puglia, and their red wine in the room was also the best we had in Puglia (all three of their wines were fantastic!). We arrived on a Tuesday night and took advantage of a wonderful farmer's market in Martina Franca on Wednesdays - bought cheeses and nuts and vegetables we used later to cook pasta and have snacks. Good restaurant recommendations and the towns are so quick and easy to access. Stunning environment. Great pool (note- it's not heated!), other guests we met were friendly. We traveled with a 2 year old and they were very helpful with a crib and high chair as well. I hope we return!
