We somehow managed to book the room for the wrong nights so effectively turned up a day earlier than our booking. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodated our error. They came out to give us the keys to the room late in the evening. The room was lovely, huge, very clean and good views, would definitely recommend. Would recommend a car due to being a little rural. We had no issues booking spa treatments, getting sun loungers or using the restaurants or bar. There's a really beautiful walk up behind the hotel with amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would say the restaurant and bar food menus are very expensive - we paid EUR15 for 3 small scoops of gelato one night which left me quite annoyed. I would return to this hotel if we go back to Pisa.
