We can highly recommend Antica Masseria Ficazzana - Tenuta - Albergo! It is a lovely place in the hands of wonderful Lorena. The house is surrounded by olive, amond and figs trees. There is a huge court which is perfect to relax, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the beautiful beaches are very near to the house. The beakfast include homemade jams and cakes and we love it. It was for us a great pleasure to communicate with Lorena. Grazie mille! Hope see you again!

The Masseria has style, from the decor and design of the buildings to the many quirky and interesting pieces scattered throughout. The private patio for each room provides privacy, while looking out on beautiful gardens. Indeed, we didn't really mind when it rained during our visit, as we could enjoy being in this peaceful space. Most importantly, Laura and Tony are the ultimate hosts. We truly enjoyed, and are grateful for, their friendliness, warmth and humour. We felt at home (if home also included having delicious meals made for you and your room being perfectly cleaned on a daily basis!). They and their staff gave us wonderful memories of this summer. This is without doubt the nicest stay we have ever had in Italy.

Everything was wonderful. Patrizia and Tony (owners) made sure every detail was attended to. The rooms and pool were beautiful. The staff was amazing and always on hand to get whatever we needed. One evening Patrizia and Tony prepared the most amazing dinner for us and our friends. All the food and wine were locally sourced and it was fantastic. It helps that Tony was a professional chef in Milan before this venture. The location is excellent - very quiet but only 7-8 min to the beaches where the water was warm and crystal clear.

We loved our stay. Alessandro, the host, and his colleagues, the staff, are extremely friendly and helpful. Alessandro proved to be highly knowledgeable and efficient in running Ruri Pulcra and offering exquisite services but also on suggesting highest quality places - beaches, restaurants, boat trips. The restaurant at Ruri Pulcra is magnificent. The beef they cook, Tagliata di Scottona and the Filetto ai Ferri (veal, actually) is really, from our perspective, outstanding. The fish and the seafood, Crudi di Mare are equally marvelous. The menu is not long (which, in our view, is a very good thing) but the plates are generous and prices are very decent (quite similar to the other restaurants in the area). Also, the wines they serve are really a pleasure and the house wine choices are very, very good (for us they were a novelty, as Alessandro made us discover rosato - rose - of Negroamaro and of Malvasia). It was our first time in Puglia and within this context it proved to be an excellent experience. We very much loved Santa Maria di Leuca, Ostranto and Lecce.

Location is good, near to main beaches of Maldive del Salento and Santa Maria di Leuca. Room was good with a nice outdoor area. Nice breakfast

The host Riccardo was very welcoming and sorted out any problems immediately. The accommodation is exceptional, rustic and traditional, with a spacious living area and large bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and there was air conditioning in two of the bedrooms. There is a fantastic garden, just a short walk from the accommodation, with a sheltered pool and a large canopy and very comfy sunbeds, which are shared with the other two accommodations on the site. It is a short drive to many beautiful small towns and a great base to explore Apulia.

Exceptionally beautiful location, wonderful staff. We greatly enjoyed speaking the owner who is genuinely interested in ensuring that each guest's stay exceeds expectations. Grounds of the Masseria are amazing. Beautiful unique pool with the most comfortable lounge chairs I think I've ever sat in. We were sorry we only booked for one day as this is a lovely place in which to relax from which to visit some of the local beaches and small towns. The staff were very helpful in providing us a list of local eateries for dinner; their breakfast on the patio was wonderful.

It has a big porch and at night sitting at that porch/verenda and wacthing the sky is magical, and the mother and baby cat Siyah and Otto made our day. They are so so cute. The owners greeted us so warm and I do not know how to thank Lucia, Marco, Oscar and Rosa, Francesco and the neighbours. Great stay I have ever had.
