This is truly a hidden paradise. The scenery is so green beautiful and calm. You hear the birds, you see birds flying, you hear the river. The swimming pool is amazing. The water was a perfect temperature to refresh without being too cold. This is a perfect getaway from city life. The hosts are so welcoming and eager to help. They encourage guests to ask for what they need and they are extremely accommodating. For instance, we had the privilege to choose our room and during breakfast they asked us if we wanted eggs made in any way we liked.

Everything was beautiful! It’s a 800 year old building but in pristine and very chique furniture & design. It has recent expansion and it is top quality walls, bedroom & bathroom. The view from rooms, lounge, patio, pool, and dining room is pristine like a painting. The owner and those that work there are incredibly friendly, kind & accommodating. We felt like they were family’s The dinner, wine & desserts were top of the line. I highly recommend the place and if ever visiting Portugal, will stay again!

Clean, comfortable and spacious ensuite room with amazing views. The shared kitchen was well equipped and each room was allocated space in the fridge and the cupboard. There was a small swimming pool and plenty of parking. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, check in was easy.

Excellent stay, looks exactly as in the pics. Helpfull host, absolutly quiet area. Its a bit in the middle of nowhere, but that is clear from description.

Claudia, the host was so helpful with getting some issues that I had from earlier in my travels and we were able to finally get resolved. I couldn’t of done this without her assistance and she was happy to help! her place was beautiful with a beautiful view and super clean. she also served an excellent breakfast and I would say we found a great friend in Claudia! we had the place to ourselves and she upgraded us to her best room which had beautiful views to the valley below. The whole area was spacious and interesting with a large private parking area.

Boutique hotel, so they personally take care of you. It feels like you are staying in a beautiful country home. The grounds and pool are very well taken care of and beautiful. Our room was very clean and modern. Our kitchen in our room was big enough for us to prepare meals. They provided the best breakfast we have had in Portugal. The chef personally makes your breakfast for each individual family. 30 mins to Porto. Perfect day trip. Grocery store, bread truck, seafood store and bakery a 5 min drive away.
