We loved the location, so isolated,on a cliff overlooking ravine across to other mountainside. The decor was like being at my grandmothers place, beautiful antiques. Anywhere in the Duoro was lovely but this place was extra special. We even were served breakfast.

The view is unmatched. We did not want to leave. Sonia was so helpful and kind. Fresh bread in the morning. Clean and had everything we needed. Thinking about renting the whole compound next time with family and friends.

We loved this place. What a great old house! So many rooms...I kept getting lost. The room was huge. The bathroom was huge. The owner was delightful. Very accommodating and she served wine when we arrived. It was not right in town, but easy to find and onsite parking was easy. The breakfast was fabulous. As huge as the house. Lots of variety, lots of fruit. It was hard to believe this place was so inexpensive. Well worth it.

Very clean, views are sweet, there are pots and pans to use. There are very nice modern touches throughout. The owner has worked hard to update Apartments where the surroundings clearly made this difficult. The space is small, but well-planned. Owner fit a REAL full size shower into that bathroom, which is amazing. Beds are comfortable. They are listed as one large bed and one sofa bed. Actually, there are 2 identically-sized beds, one upstairs and one downstairs. (They are a bit small, definitely smaller than a queen. My husband switched to the single bed that we thankfully requested because we were told one bed was a sofa bed-- and we weren't sure our teens would fit on that!)
