We needed to go off early to catch the sunrise and they packed breakfast for us.

Casa Chincol offers accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama, 14 km from the centre. The property boasts views of the mountain and is 35 km from Termas de Puritama. Free private parking is available on site. Incredible and unique place to stay in the San Pedro area. The surrounding Tulor oasis is beautiful. Nico was very helpful before and during the stay. You need a car to reach the property and to see the local sites, 10 minutes drive to San Pedro de Atacama.

A bicycle rental service is available at the country house. The location is perfect and the staff are exceptionally chill and nice! We tried the make the payment in USD cash, not only the staff is willing to accept but they don’t even charge us for additional amount or give us a bad exchange rate. Also, I do like that they don’t have any associated travel agencies that keep pursuing us to join the day tours. Instead, they gave us some sincere advice of which travel agencies are actually good around the city, and reminded us not to take the first one right away and go at least two agencies for comparison! Lastly, we checked out very early in the morning that no staff were there, we accidentally took away the room key and we noticed it after going through the security in the airport! We informed the hotel staff right away but nth we can do already….we were so sorry about that. However, the hotel didn’t blame us and didn’t not even charge us for that. We all feel that the hotel staff are really nice and helpful.

Rooms at Casa Luna are equipped with private bathroom facilities and heating. Some are located inside the main house and others are independent cottages. The host Daniella was so helpful in booking our trips and advising us on restaurants. She also made sure to fully cater to our dairy intolerance. The best breakfast we had in our Chile trip by far, would thoroughly recommend staying here and the adjoining room was perfect with young children.
