Fantastic in every way. Newly refurbished house with loads of character. The hosts Consoli and Juan were amazing, Juan took is to a local nature reserve, a place we wouldn't have found on our own. Amazing to wake up to see the flowers in the peaceful courtyard with birds singing. We will definitely return.

The property is an old house in a small village on the Spanish / Portugese border. The house is in the middle of a village, but a totally quiet village, no noise whatsoever. We came late but were met by the manager, she arrived after a few minutes. The house has parking spots in the back. The manager spoke no English but we were able to communicate. The property is very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Our room had a bathroom as well. The room was good, warm, the bathroom as well, everything very clean. The WiFi was I think stronger in the kitchen than in the room, but I guess it is a small village. Very good price / quality ratio.

I was on the Camino and this place was heaven. The hosts were amazing and I loved the Roman bath and atmosphere. So very kind to me which is sometimes what people need more than anything.

This rural hotel is set in the village of Don Alvaro, 10 km from Mérida, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It offers a small seasonal outdoor pool and free WiFi. A fabulous welcome from Pepe as we parked outside of the hotel. We were served drinks in the sunlit courtyard. We asked for dinner and were very glad we did. It was terrific home cooking but with lots of attention and love put into the cooking. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very well presented. A real gem! Thank you!
