Located in Lugo, in a historic building, 9 km from Congress and Exhibiton Center, O Forno de Catuxa Cottage & Roman Wall is a recently renovated country house with a garden and shared lounge. Gorgeous, eclectic and quirky, 3 words I could use to describe O forno de Catuxa but they wouldn’t do it justice. Very original and beautifully thought out property and grounds. My room was delightful and luxurious in every way. The hosts were super obliging and very friendly, breakfast was lovely, would not hesitate to stay again.

The view at the balcony of the bedroom is to die for, especially during sunset. The house is cozy and well-equipped. Very clean and well-maintained. Beds are also very comfortable. Communication with the host was great. She was very responsive. Julietta and her husband who checked us in are such wonderful people. They patiently showed us around the house. Julietta even shared with us the interesting places we can explore in the neighbourhood. No need to worry about parking as you can park the car just in front of the house. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if we come back.
