If you would like to discover the area, cycling, hiking and walking tours are possible in the surroundings and 2 Houses and A Barn can arrange a bicycle rental service. Extremely friendly host - nothing was too much for them. The house is well equipped with everything you need, kitchen, fridge and all. The room was a good size and quiet; bed was very comfortable. Complementary invite for a Norwegian waffle breakfast - thank you!
Sortland
Guests at the country house will be able to enjoy activities in and around Sortland, like fishing and hiking. Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while ski-to-door access and ski storage space are also available on-site. We had a lovely stay at this country house! The place is truly amazing: beautifully decorated with wonderful paintings that give it a warm, welcoming feel. The sunny living room with big windows and a lovely view was a real highlight; it made us stop and say wow. Communication was excellent too - we received all the needed information and clear instructions before arrival, which made everything easy. It was a perfect experience of the Norwegian countryside: peaceful, calm, and surrounded by nature. We even went on a short hike nearby and met some adorable sheep and cows. Overall, a memorable and relaxing stay that we’d absolutely recommend!

Great location, very peaceful and very quiet. Very friendly host. We liked the personal contact. You can do several bookable activities. The supermarket is 15 min. drive away. The apartment is fully equipped. We will probably also once come in the winter to see how that is. I can really recommend it.
Close to the bus stop, shops, and hiking/walking paths, in quiet surroundings. But the city is small, so nowhere is far. Clean place with comfy beds, small kitchenette, outside table. Highly recommend.
That’s a great place to stay. The views are amazing. The area is quiet and peaceful. The apartment was clean, all equipment worked well. The host was really helpful and responded quickly. The check in process was simple, there was a locker with the key, so you can arrive any time. Good parking. One of the best places we stayed in Norway.
It was a quiet cabin/room in a good location. I was on foot, so it wasn't far from the ferry port and as I wasn't hiking and was just staying a couple of days it was ideal.
- the flat is perfectly located : Ballstad is a charming and quiet place in the middle of Lofoten, perfect for hiking and little bit away from the crowd - the apartment is even better than the pictures, the view is amazing, all fournitures are modern. We loved watching at the mountain on the other side of the harbour - the host is helpful. He helped me on a topic not related to the flat, we really appreciated it To sum up, we loved everything about this accomodation
Spacious, great view. Clean and comfortable bed. Quiet area. Apartment has has all basic stuff but not luxurious. Certainly value for money.
Great value for money, quiet, fresh air and lovely natural surroundings. Perfect if you just want a place to sleep, by no means luxurious - but clean and has the basic facilities you need. Loved the fact we could have our dog with us!
Location was lovely and quirt. We were offered an upgrade on arrival for a small fee to a bigger hut with a full kitchen and it was well worth it. Spacious hut, spotless, powerful shower sign lots of hot water and wifi worked well. It was so quiet and peaceful. Staff helped with where to eat on Sunday and where to see the midnight sun. Ate in restaurant on Monday night and it was fabulous food. Would come back!
