And I cannot wait to go back! The area is quiet but has so many beaches in the immediate vicinity - we were spoilt for choice! Went to a different beach everyday - and each one was beautiful. The owner was super lovely and made every effort to ensure we had the best time.

One of the most beautiful and thoughtfully created accommodations I've ever stayed in. The rooms are so well designed. The women operating the guesthouse are wonderful. I stayed here at the beginning of my trip to Portugal and it set the standard so high. I was a solo traveller and felt incredibly safe. It is located in a small village but extremely accessible to beaches and several activities (SUP tour, surf lessons, coaster ring). Even if you don't have a car, the guesthouse is beside the bus 47 stop which travels across the Algarves several times a day! Breakfasts are delicious, the entire guesthouse is impeccably clean, really feels like a 5-star stay.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property offers bike hire and features a garden and outdoor fireplace. This place exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made you feel like a part of their home. The location is exceptional - walking distance from a beautiful local beach that is far less crowded than other Algarve beaches. The setting was relaxing and the daily breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at an accommodation. We were so delighted and recharged from our stay - thank you Felipe and team!

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Casa do Lado is situated in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 700 metres from Sao Clemente Fort and 16 km from Pessegueiro Island. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 700 metres from Franquia Beach. The country house also offers facilities for disabled guests. Everything was perfect. Mariana and Tomas made sure our experience was comfortable and cozy, from the decoration of the room to the amazing breakfast served in the lovely garden. Our room was super clean and spacious and the two hosts were always available and provided us with some very useful advice to visit the area. Would definitely come back in the future.

This place was AMAZING! Really really stunning and cosy accommodation! The host was really really pleasant and friendly, he is your friend there! He will help you with anything (for example he helped us to book a table in local restaurant). Room itself was really comfortable and there was anything you need! We really really cannot wait to come back there again! If you need to stay somewhere in Portugal then is DEFINITELY the place to be!!!

Dona Fernanda and her Mother areis amazing persons and makes sure your stay will be amazing. Her breakfast is unbelievable good and generous. We stayed at the apartment and is a very nice facility. The bed is very comfortable. The place is very quiet. We would come back again and highly recommend staying at Casa Alva.

TEIMA, Alentejo SW is a bed and breakfast located 6 km from São Teotónio and has an outdoor swimming pool. This modernly decorated B&B is surrounded by nature and all rooms feature a terrace with views to the lush countryside. What an amazing place! Even better than what shown in the photos and the staff was absolutely great. Room and bathroom and big, clean and very nicely decorated. Common area is very nice and relaxing, amazing breakfast! We tally loved this place, definitively the best hotel of our entire trip!

The setting was delightfully pastoral—complete with a peaceful pond, friendly donkeys, and a few resident cats that added to the charm. The shared kitchen had everything we needed, making it easy to prepare meals and feel right at home. Our host was friendly, helpful, and genuinely engaging—being there felt more like visiting family than staying at a hotel. This is a truly unique and welcoming place, full of character and warmth. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area!
