Priscilla’s dinner by candlelight was truly unforgettable—one of the best meals we’ve had in ages, beautifully prepared and delicious. For breakfast, we enjoyed fresh strawberries from the garden and a wonderful orange marmalade. My favorite part was the delicate silverware and the charming collection of plates and ceramics, which added so much character. Priscilla herself was the most wonderful host, making us feel welcome and cared for. We shared such a lovely conversation, and her warmth truly made our stay special. The only thing that could’ve made it better is if we stayed longer. ❤️

It is a 10-minute drive to the beach in Humewood and there are 3 golf courses within 5 km of Hacklewood Hill Country House. A fabulous property, it was like stepping back in time! Everything about the decor throughout the house was beautiful! The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us, I have nothing negative at all to say about Hacklewood Hill.
