Most stunning property with intimate feel and kindest people working there from check in to restaurant and amazing valet, drivers and cleaning crew! Couldn’t ask for a better place in Bahamas! Driving was easy for the first time driving on the other side of the road. Super easy! It was helpful to have my own car on the island as hotel is about 10 minutes away from the airport. Absolutely loved the food at this magnificent property! Way better then anywhere else on the island!

The managers, Stephanie and Andrea, made us feel right at home and helped us out with all kinds of things. Always super friendly and helpful. Centrally located, not far from great beaches (incl surfer's beach), bunch of convenience stores / restaurants a short drive away. Great breakfast on-site. Nice cottages. Overall great place to hang out, watch the stars, chill at the pool, ...

Awesome spot! Very clean, Exuma building was very big for our family of 6. Breakfast was hot and choice of the menu (and free), great food (and fast, not typical 45 minute "Bahama time")! Staff was VERY attentive to everything. They were up early each day cleaning the grounds. View of airplanes and ramp for the little airport from our top deck and windows. Island is walkable, but golf cart preferred (especially hitting the secluded beach areas - don't miss Pirate Trap beach, its beautiful!). Resort is very affordable relative to the other options. We rented our own boat to get around for 2 of the days ($350/day), dock was 30 second walk away. We will be back to Embrace, coolest Bahama out island ever and we've been to most!

I ended up at Goldwynn Resort & Residences by chance after an unfortunate first night elsewhere on the island. Italia at reception was incredibly patient, allowing me time to decide whether to book through Booking.com or directly with the hotel, answering all my questions thoroughly. Now, after six nights, I can genuinely say the stay has been outstanding. Goldwynn is truly all about the details. It felt like being a guest in someone's well-curated home, where every thoughtful touch had been anticipated. Upon arrival, I received a beach bag and two refillable metal water bottles, which became daily essentials. One of the faucets even dispensed filtered drinking water—a rare and much-appreciated amenity. The rooms are spotless and inviting, with plenty of space and everything you could wish for. As a frequent traveler, I can honestly say my studio room here has become a personal favorite. Everything felt brand new, and the kitchenette, complete with a high-end coffee machine, was an exceptional touch. Returning here after a day out was always a pleasure. Housekeeping made sure twice a day, that nothing was missing.

I had the most amazing experience staying at A Stone’s Throw Away in the Bahamas February 2025. From the breathtaking views to the cozy, well-kept rooms, everything about this place exceeded my expectations. However, what truly made my stay unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. One particular staff member went above and beyond when my suitcase zipper broke. Without hesitation, she brought me a new one from her own home—at no cost! It was such a selfless and touching gesture, and at that moment, she felt like an angel sent from heaven. The hospitality, warmth, and care I experienced here were unlike anything else. If you're looking for a place where you’ll feel truly welcomed and cared for, A Stone’s Throw Away is the perfect choice. I can't wait to return!

What a wonderful reprieve from “the Bahamas”. Came for a girls long weekend and wanted to avoid rambunctious kids and water parks at all costs. Could not have found a better hotel for relaxing. The restaurant is of course phenomenal (be prepared to pay for the quality though). Graycliff also boasts the third largest wine cellar in the world - definitely worth grabbing a tour of you can. The evening live music is beautiful and well worth silly-dallying for.

The Staff went above and beyond for us! We made the comment we would like a salty bedtime snack. Wondered where the nearest store was. Before we had a chance to settle, there was a knock on the door. They had bought us a bag of chips and delivered it to our room! NO CHARGE! I would totally stay here again! Everything was very clean. Including the pool.
