Next to a temple, the food is excellent, but most importantly the hosts are fantastic. After a 9 Hour drive, heading into a meeting, they brought me tea and cookies to make me feel better. I will definitely stay there again.

Since the moment we entered the hotel and were greeting with a traditional drink, the owner and staff were more than attentive and accommodating. They helped us with everything: driving us to where we needed to go, helping plan activities, booking hotels in other cities, getting reservations at hot stone baths and more. The food was good and the coffee was also quite good. In all, we couldn't have asked for anything more.

The hotel room is equipped with a heater among all the modern amenities. They attended to our every need. Highly recommended for family & solo travellers.

Offering an indoor swimming pool, a spa and wellness centre and a fitness centre, Le Méridien Thimphu is located in Thimphu. Perfect and comfortable stay, with family including elderly parents and our toddler daughter. Hotel had all necessary facilities, good choice of food, great location and very very helpful staff. Using the Indoor heated swimming pool in the cold weather was the highlight !
