Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. Loved it here! Breakfast was great and loved when the fed the birds in the morning. It was a meal with a show. So many amazing colorful birds. The location is great. It's an easy walk into town, but far enough from the center that it's not too loud. Our rooms were comfortable. They aren't super modern, but were good. The pool was very refreshing and generally we didn't have difficulty finding a place to relax by the pool. The staff were all very helpful and kind. We were very lucky that 3 of the 4 days we were there, we could see the arenal volcano. The first day it was completely covered with clouds, but it eventually came out! Great view from the pool

Very good location, right in town but still quiet. Very nice owner that helps out with everything. super clean. we even got a little christmas gift.

Located in Fortuna, 2.9 miles from La Fortuna Waterfall, Cabañas del Rio has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. Very nice, cozy apartment. Nice breakfast, but the portions could be a bit bigger. Awesone complimentary night walk with the host! Highly recommended accomodation!

Located on the banks of River Baru, Hotel Villas Río Mar is also within a walking distance of 2953 feet from the Village of Dominical. Great hotel, stayed here for one night to recharge while traveling around with a rooftop tent. I read some negative reviews regarding the restaurant, but personally I can only compliment the food as well as all staff. The prices in the restaurant are below most of the restaurants in Costa Rica outside of hotels, which seems unusual. Kids loved the pool. We were happy to get a suite all the way in the back, which felt like being in the middle of the jungle.
