Facing the beachfront, Hotel Savana offers 3-star accommodations in São Filipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Facing the beachfront, Barceló Praia Cape Verde offers 5-star accommodations in Praia and features a terrace, restaurant and bar. Highly highly recommend. The food is excellent, the personnel is polite, professional and caring I loved and enjoyed my stay

Pensaò Big Game Maio has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Vila do Porto. This 4-star hotel offers massage services. Wonderful stay at big game- the hosts were very kind and welcoming. Matia, Mirko, and the team went above and beyond in their service and hospitality. Great good and best tiramisu in Cabo verde! Highly recommend

Kira's Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo. For a fee, Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. Everyone who worked there was so kind. We loved the location and the outdoor spaces. Close to beach and to good restaurants as well as the live music.

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of city, Ocean Suites is located in Santa Maria, a few steps from Praia de Santa Maria. Breakfast was perfect, great choice of options and great service.

Palmeira Da Cruz EcoLodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Chã da Igreja. Guests can enjoy garden views. This is why you don't give 10 when you rate places - because you can't give 11 to places like this. Absolutely amazing place. The hosts, Dani and Guy, are so nice. The food is amazing and the location is incredible. My best recommendation ever!

Everything was great-the ambiance, the kindness and conviviality of the owner and the location. She was so helpful for planning a hike, making travel arrangements, making drinks. A bonus was housemade pasta and pizza. When I misplaced the key : (( she was most gracious.

Featuring a bar and views of city, Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo, a 14-minute walk from Praia Da Laginha. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. Excellent, comfortable and cosy hotel. All major sites and the beach are within walking distance. The staff were very nice and welcoming throughout our stay. The jacuzzi on the rooftop at the bar are a major plus. Nice way to enjoy Mindelo weather in a relaxing way.

Featuring a garden, Casa da Djedja is located in Mindelo in the São Vicente region, a 15-minute walk from Praia Da Laginha and 600 yards from Torre de Belem. Very nicely decorated guesthouse with a beautiful inner yard. It is located about 15 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. There are some good restaurants around. The beds were comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. Staff are absolutely lovely and friendly. We will remember their smiles.
