The location, the view, the swimming pool. The decoration is so beautiful as well. The hosts were amazing, very caring. Prepared dinner for the guests every night, plus a delicious breakfast. It's a very special place, one of a kind. Honestly you are in for a treat.

Super nice staff. We liked the whirlpool on the roof and the convenient location to the ferry terminal, which is about ten minutes away on foot.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel Savana offers 3-star accommodations in São Filipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Featuring a garden, Casa da Djedja is located in Mindelo in the São Vicente region, a 15-minute walk from Praia Da Laginha and 600 yards from Torre de Belem. The hotel is very new & beautifully designed with a charming courtyard. We had a nice & modern room. The staff was very attentive & let us really feel at home. We enjoyed their lovely breakfast which included local delicacies.

La Fora Ecolodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in São Filipe. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. Rooms are equipped with a patio with garden views. After a long tour of Cabo Verde, it good to relax in the high of Fogo. Swimming pool, nice campaign around. Very peace full. Very comfortable bed. Nice and cool place. Efficient team. Kira's Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo. For a fee, Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. Everyone who worked there was so kind. We loved the location and the outdoor spaces. Close to beach and to good restaurants as well as the live music.
