The location in the heart of Mindelo near everything I wanted to see. The clean room with the giant bathroom. But most importantly, the team who were just amazing, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, Patricia would go out of her way to make your stay better, they put so much effort into the littlest details like when I asked if they do laundry, my clothes came back after two hours smelling like a meadow! When I had to leave the hotel very early in the morning they packed me a mini breakfast to eat while traveling..

Black Mamba deserves its high rating. Everything was great-the ambiance, the kindness and conviviality of the owner and the location. She was so helpful for planning a hike, making travel arrangements, making drinks. A bonus was housemade pasta and pizza. When I misplaced the key : (( she was most gracious.

Maria and Tony are the most amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make my time in Fogo easy and special and I am so grateful! Also, the food at their hotel is DELICIOUS, the internet worked quite well, and the town of Cova Figuera is a very friendly place. I had a great experience and absolutely recommend this hotel as an excellent value!
