This lodge is easily the best hostel we have ever stayed in. The main house, cabins, yoga rooms and spa (!) are all gorgeous and wonderfully well equipped. We loved the family-style meals at dinner and breakfast, the yoga class and the jacuzzi in the spa. The team went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable at any given moment :) We had an absolutely amazing time here and would strongly recommend that you stay at least two nights!

the Majordomo Fernanda was brilliant...our son was catching a 6, 7am bus back to Amazon and without any notice or preplanning she wouldn't let him getaway without a proper box lunch. Breakfast was included and provided fresh start for the day..always nice choices & the option of more fruit rather than fries or potatoes or ? We shared a room with our son and it was spacious, beds were comfortable and hot water consistent. The pool area is very large and private with much shade in a beautiful garden setting . Provisions for all manner of food and drink and to be waited on by friendly staff The fine kitchen and patio are available for guests just about anytime and provide for what you want beyond the gardens to the pool Lots of joy, laughter and celebration by the pool..well done

The room was very clean and wasn't small. The hotel and the surrounding neighborhood were quiet. The bus station is about a 10 minute walk away; and while the center seems far on the maps, it didn't really feel like it when walking there. Comfortable pillows. The breakfast was great with a respectable quantity of fruit, juice, coffee, eggs another item or two which varied frm morning to morning. They also had coffee and tea available whenever you want; it's nice to be able to get a cup of coffee right when you get up.
