The view, the room, the staff were all wonderful. The beds are a little hard, but I think it's because they are traditional beds. So just a heads up. Other than that.... it was a wonderful getaway.

The view is amazing, the staff is adorable and so caring. the restaurant is delicious. the rooms are beautiful and the bed so comfortable ! it was perfect !

Above-and-Beyond Assistance:When our luggage was lost by the airline, Simon and Tesema helped us communicate with the airline and tracked it down. They even arranged for our luggage to be delivered to the hotel the next day—such a relief! 2. Delicious Breakfast with a View: The breakfast was amazing, with so many choices, and enjoying it on the beautiful rooftop terrace with views of Gonder was the perfect way to start each day. 3. Local Experiences & Great Company: Tesema took us on a guided walk to the local market, which was so much fun! We even had a wonderful dinner together—it felt like being with family. 4. Helpful Travel Tips: Tesema gave us great advice about exploring Gonder and Ethiopia, making our travels much smoother and more enjoyable. 5. A Comfortable & Welcoming Stay: The entire team made us feel at home. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay unforgettable. 6. The rooms are clean and tidy, bed very comfortable and understandable why this hotel received high reviews from previous guests. The centre of Lalibela is a short walk away or use one of the many Tuk Tuk transport to get you to where you want to go. Many restaurants, ATM's', banks. All the main churches are within walking distance too. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and highly recommended.

An excellent option in Gonder. Staff is extremely helpful. Food in their sister restaurant (a short walk from the property) is extremely tasty and great value.

Featuring a bar and views of city, Hotel Delina Aksum is located in Āksum, a 6-minute walk from King Bazens Tomb. One of the most comfortable stays in Ethiopia. Located close to everything. We always had hot water. The owner is able to set you up with tour guides if you'd like, and is very receptive to all of your needs and questions.

Located in Lalibela, a 15-minute walk from Bet Abba Libanos, Amba Lodge Lalibela has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The location was excellent. The transport to and from airport was good. It was very clean with wonderful traditional breakfast. Staff was very accommodating to meet needs and provide wifi.
