We always had hot water. The owner is able to set you up with tour guides if you'd like, and is very receptive to all of your needs and questions.

Also an owner was always ready to help. The room was well equiped and spacious. Breakfast was very good - good service, tasty, a la carte. Good location and secure place.

Located in Gonder and with Adian-Seghed Iyasus Castle reachable within a 6-minute walk, Lodge Du Chateau has concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. I stayed before and after my hike in the Simien mountains in the lodge du chateau. Simon is an amazing host! He is so helpful and friendly, i can only recommend him. Also the overall staff was great. The breakfast was also amazing with a lot of different choices and the view from the Terrasse is beautiful!
