I Butre, 2,2 kilometer fra Busua-stranden, ligger Afro Beach eco Resort Butre, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, et privat strandområde og en terrasse. The Afro Beach Eco Resort is on a stunning beach walking distance to a fishing village and nearby Busua beach. It is quiet and peaceful, but the staff are always nearby to help. The food was outstanding and the guided hike to Busre and Busua was one of the highlights of our whole trip to Ghana. There are also a few bars along the beach. The resort is a long way from the main road and feels very remote, but once you are at the beach it is a little slice of heaven, just like one of the other reviewers agreed. The rooms are comfortable and although they feel very hot and stuffy when you first get in, the fan is powerful and made sleeping very comfortable.

Covenant Hotel ligger i Accra, bare 18 kilometer fra Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park og 18 kilometer fra Independence Arch. The room was clean and the place looked neat and simple. It actually exceeded my expectations. All the needed amenities were there and the receptionist was professional.

Everyone was so welcoming when we arrived. They allowed us a late check out as our flight home was in the evening. All the staff we encountered were fab, especially the manager Ali and Clement, Michael & Bismark. The rooms were clean and well stocked with supplies. Breakfast was a feast, and dinner at the restaurant was delicious and well priced. The hotel definitely holds it own against others, including 5 stars in the area. I would highly recommend checking it out.

GIDI LODGE ligger i Tamale og har en bar. Overnattingsstedet tilbyr gratis privat parkering og gratis WiFi. I stayed here for almost a month and tried AirBnB and other hotels in Tamale before. Compared to all other options, this is by far the best value you can get. A small room is 250 GHS and a big room 300 GHS. The location is extremely clean, the rooms are bright with a lot of sunlight, the managing receptionist is very courteous and professional, and the hotel is right in the center of Tamale. Due to the double double glazed windows (IRRC), the noise from the main street was reduced considerably. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. Notably, there were no issues with electricity. At the AirBnB around Tuunayili Last Stop where I stayed for 2 months previously (same price), blackouts were a huge issue - about 3 times a week, for several hours. The record was 18 hours no electricity. At Gidi Lodge, the personnel is using backup generators. All hotels and AirBnBs in that price range won't use backup generators to save fuel. For a backup generator, you usually have to pay at least 50€ or more per night. The internet at the Gidi Lodge was fine, and the water was also running (which is not to be taken for granted). Overall, this is an exceptionally well-run hotel. After moving to the next town, I really miss Gidi Lodge. Anyone visiting Tamale should definitely book this place.

I Elmina, 3,4 kilometer fra Ahomka Fie i Elmina (festning), ligger Pito Guest House, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. The location is a bit outside Elmina town, but close enough to walk. It also provides a panoramic view of town and castle. The a-la-carte breakfast menu was a pleasant surprise, and food was overall good and tasty. It's a new place which is beautifully furnished and decorated. Our room had a small balcony, which was perfect to watch the sunrise.
