Hotels in the Gambia

This was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the property is gorgeous. Everything is well laid-out and designed with a ton of greenery everywhere. There are numerous places in the public areas to sit or lounge in the in the shade, and coffee and other beverages are available at the bar. I met a number of other interesting travelers (the place is small, so you will run into the same people a lot). There is one decent restaurant within walking distance, many more a short taxi ride away. The owner, Urban, can help arrange transportation from the airport as well as for sightseeing.

Management and staff were accommodating and exceptional!

Good rooms with air con and hot water. Nice sitting area on the restaurant terrace in front of the pool. Quiet location 15 minutes walking distance to a quiet beach and 10 minutes taxi (for GMD 200) to Senegambia. Decent breakfast. Wifi works even though not fast and unstable.

The staff was extremely accommodating. due to flight delays we arrived quite late, but we were well greeted for our transport from the airport, and we’ll taken care of upon our 1 am arrival. And on the morning of our departure we had an early connection for a booked tour but the staff was able to arrange for an early breakfast for us.

The staff was friendly and kind throughout my whole stay. Another thing that I needed was instantly brought to Mr without issues and the room was clean every single day. My wedding anniversary went off successfully. I am beyond pleased.

Everything especially the front desk staff,waitstaff and security team. Khadijah,saruba and Alisa were so professional and diligent when making sure every visitor is checked on their business in being there. They make the guests feel welcome and comfortable. Also the waitstaff person Ellen who always pays special attention to detail. That makes guests feel at home. She's a true professional at what she does every day. Please give all your staff a bonus because they work hard and dedicated everyday.

The property is breathtaking. The swim up pool to the sea view. I loved everything about my stay. The room was clean and felt comfortable.

The staff here is wonderful. They are all very kind - the bar and restaurant, room housekeeping attendants (specifically Alex), Arrison the gardener, and front desk (Riquita). Everyone was very helpful and always asking how my day ways and making sure I was enjoying Gambia. The accomodations are great value. Very good breakfast, clean rooms and facilites, great location, and beautiful pool with beach views. The rooms are very spacious and pretty and the house keeping attendants do a great job cleaning every day. My room attendant, Alex, made beautiful flower designs each day and was very friendly and polite. If i was in the room working he was very mindful and did not disturb me. Wifi was not bad. About 10 Mbps by the pool but I wouldn't rely on it for seamless service. Video calls weren't always perfect but I had no issue getting an africell sim card and connecting my phone to my laptop for video calls. I was able ti work and there were many others working remotely from the hotel besides me. Conveniently located in a central part of Gambia and although the prices are a bit high the taxis and bicycles are right outside the hotel for convenience. At one point I did forget my watch on my pool chair and the pool attendant came to deliver it to me in my room, very kind.

Extraordinary and magnificent place. One of my best stay in life. Thank you for everything. And beyond this !

Any issue was addressed promptly. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. The restaurant food was delicious and fresh. Staff were always moving about making sure the facility was maintained. I will be happy to return when visiting TG.

Tamala Beach Resort is truly impressive — the design is beautiful, the location is ideal, and the surrounding scenery is stunning. The staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and responsive, which adds greatly to the overall experience. The food is enjoyable, and the facilities meet expectations. Everything was great, aside from some minor signs of wear and tear.
