The service and the atmosphere were our favorite part. The indoor/outdoor design had a refreshing breeze and it felt romantic. The service was amazing from the time we arrived. Three people stoodout. TROY who made sure we had whatever we needed for our stay, made us aware of the best views from the patio for the Diwali motorcade. He is so professional and our experience was enhanced by him - also he was very knowledgeable on questions we had. CHERYL was our waitress at night and the next morning for brunch. We recognized her from a cute Instagram video on the hotel's page. She was fun and again super professional. She handled some very large parties while still making sure we had a great experience. Also the restaurant food was delicious (chicken curry, fried rice, dahl). Third, COLLIN was a wonderful host on our last morning. He is so pleasant, professional and I really felt he wanted us to have the best experience possible and we left smiling, refreshed and so very glad we came.

Location, dining options, cleanliness, professionalism of staff

EVERYTHING went well. I have been staying at HERDMANSTON LODGE HOTEL from the time it was opened. The breakfast is excellent. The BAKES and SALT FISH excellent. The PEPPERPOT excellent. The ROOM clean and pleasant. Miss Toresta Springer who looked after my room at 202 was excellent. Bed was comfortable and well made. Towels clean and fresh. Bins clean and pleasant. Miss EDNA and the late MR WILLIAM the owners were excellent. Miss DEE and MR George the younger owners are excellent too. It was MR George who booked me in the hotel for my first stay around thirty years ago. The hotel is like HOME AWAY FROM HOME for me. We, my family, have always enjoyed our stay at HERDMANSTON LODGE HOTEL, We have stayed in most of those rooms. We have stayed in WALES room where the late QUEEN ELIZABETH and PRINCE PHILIP stayed. PRINCE CHARLES now KING CHARLES also stayed IN WALES room. The rooms are named after the BOOKERS Sugar Estates found in GUYANA/Formerly BRITISH GUIANA. The late Mr Williams bought HERDMANSTON LODGE HOTEL from BOOKERS where he once worked. My father also worked at Wales Sugar Estate making Demera Rum and Demerara Sugar. WOW, It is a long history and geography.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The food was delicious, the room was clean and well organized. The hotel staff were always pleasant, friendly and was happy to help whenever i needed assistance. They make your stay so comfortable and enjoyable. The pool on the other hand was a plus for my daughter. She enjoyed it and the fact that it was only opened to inhouse guest was a plus for her. Thanks to the management and staff at Windjammer International Cusine & Comfort Inn for making my stay a pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing one. I'd definitely book here again. 🙂
