L'hotel bellissimo in generale. Ho apprezzato molto la wake up call per l'aurora boreale, dato che è non sempre si è attenti a ciò che succede fuori. La colazione era devastante, veramente buona e ricca. Il centro benessere molto comodo, cosiglio di portare delle ciabatte dato che la struttura non le procura.

Situato in una posizione tranquilla a 2 km dal Lago Mývatn e a 30 minuti di auto dalla cascata Godafoss e dal cratere Krafla, l'Hótel Laxá offre la connessione Wi-Fi gratuita e camere con arredi... La struttura rimane isolata ma al contempo non troppo lontano dal lago, è veramente scenografica con una vista mozzafiato da tutte le finestre sul paesaggio circostante. Si prova un vero senso di pace a soggiornare in questo albergo, architettura semplice e moderna, ma al contempo confortevole. Inoltre, meteo permettendo, è un ottimo posto per poter vedere l’aurora boreale. Il personale è molto gentile. La sala per mangiare è molto ben arredata e la colazione è abbondante e molto variata, ottima. Per dove è situato l’albergo per l’architettura e per quello che offre il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono.

From the first step inside it feels like home. The first thing You see is the beautiful common area with the fireplace in the middle. Just sit down and read a book, play a game of chess or enjoy a nice talk to your fellow partner. The next thing you notice is the awesome bar and the fancy restaurant. The room is amazing. It is bigger than any other room on our Iceland trip. Awesome bathroom with nice tiles and design. Probably the best and most comfortable beds of our whole trip, and the most important part, it was definitely the most silent room we had. You couldn’t even hear the doors of the other rooms or that someone is walking outside. In the evening after an exhausting day you can relax in the infrared sauna and after that jump into the hot tub. Absolute recommendation. The breakfast is really amazing too and depending on where you seat yourself, you will enjoy a nice view while seating in sunshine.

Inaugurato nel giugno 2018, l'Hotel 1001 Nott offre sistemazioni moderne a 5 km da Egilsstadir. L'hotel dispone di vasche idromassaggio all'aperto con vista sul Lago Lagarfljót. Absolutely amazing. The accommodation is beautiful, set next to the lake and mountains. Perfect views and magical sunset/sunrise. The dinner was one of the best I have ever had. Breakfast was also delicious. Truly a wonderful property and would highly highly recommend.
