The rave reviews are justified! Nana is a traveler and climber and she knows what international travellers want. Plus they make great food. Plus it’s walking distance from the Elephant cave. One of my favourite guesthouses in Laos.

Everything about this hotel was perfect! The hotel looked brand new, very clean and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have slept in in SE Asia! The bedroom was spacious and modern. The air conditioning worked well, the water pressure was strong and the shower had plenty of hot water. The bathroom was well appointed with a separate shower area. The towels and linen were nice and new. It was great to have a wardrobe with a safe, along with a separate table and chairs to sit and drink coffee. Breakfast was included and was delicious, with plenty of choice. The service was excellent too! The staff were very friendly! I got lots of helpful advice from the front desk about sightseeing. They also have a nice pool and gym but I didn't use either. I can't recommend this hotel enough! It was fantastic!

No wonder this guesthouse has held the top rating spot in Luang Prabang for years. The location is perfect and has an expansive river frontage. The pool is very long and spotless. The breakfasts are incredible. All the staff are wonderful and Henry was also incredibly generous with his time, helping us make the most of our stay. We were a group of eight and we all absolutely loved our stay and are all determined to make it back one day.

Wow! What a perfect stay. I loved it at Residence Bassac. Recently refurbed the place glows with care and is spotless. I couldn’t decide at first on a double with river view or the two story with balcony and was very happy with the later. Super spacious with a great layout and furnishings. AC is strong and lots of great little touches including turn down service. The staff were very helpful and friendly, arranging a scooter, tuktuks and airport taxis. The restaurant has a beautiful open setting to the street and river. And best of all Vat Phou is about 20mins away. I’d gladly stay again, sad to go!

I'd give 5+++ stars for their service - that's just how great, kind, and helpful the staff were. They really went beyond to ensure you have a pleasant experience, not only at their hotel but also throughout your trip. I ran into issue with my train ticket booking, and they were helpful to assist me.
The bed is AMAZING! So comfortable!

The staff was exceptional, especially Souliya who spoke good english and was always friendly and attentive to our requests. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet, overlooking the pool. The location was good, within walking distance to many sights and the hotel had free bicycles that were really fun to use and explore.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Le Sen immensely. The room is comfortable, well appointed and elegant in a simple modern way. Staff were kind, gracious and helpful without being over bearing. The pool was refreshing (clean but not chlorine) gym well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. Location is 1 km from majn attractions but we used the free bikes.
