A small exclusive hotel, with modern room (quiet A/C), nice entrance, garden and pool. Staff very helpful and nice. They organized great safari with reasonable prize to us and let us to use the pool afterwards, although the check-out time was already over. Excellent milk shakes and fresh fruit juices.

It is an absolute gem and perfect hotel to explore the area. The price is more than fair. We loved our stay and can recommend it whole heartedly.

The rooms are so spacious and have beautiful views. The staff at the hotel are absolutely incredible - so thoughtful and kind, helpful in so many ways. They made our stay extra special and made us feel cared for and welcome. Dhananjaya was so friendly and attentive and made sure that we had delicious breakfast each morning.

The rooms are extremely clean and very well organized. Loved the balcony. Staff was excellent, and breakfast was great.

The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The Golden Crown Hotel was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip through Sri Lanka including Colombo, the north, and other regions. The service, friendliness, and atmosphere were absolutely exceptional. Everything felt perfectly balanced professional yet genuinely warm. A few people made the experience truly unforgettable. Dananjaya was always helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He really made my stay more enjoyable with his positive energy. Mlhirini had such a kind and welcoming presence. She constantly made sure I had everything I needed and was always up for a nice conversation. So caring and attentive. Roshan, the manager, is a truly kind person. Under his leadership, the service was simply outstanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for real hospitality and excellent service, this is the place. I’ll definitely come back!

I’m worried to say so many good things about this hotel , because maybe next time they won’t have a room for me , je je. I can say this hotel has a concept I like a lot. The staff is extremely helpful and very big smile, they ear you.
