Best place in Mauritius to stay in! Trou Aux Biches/Grand Baie is an awesome location and a stay in Sakoa Boutik is the cherry on top.
Such a tasteful and beautiful property - it simply blends in while providing all kinds of luxuries. The rooms are huge and have all the amenities that you could ask for, with a big verandah to chill out in the evenings.
The direct access to the beach and the facilities provided on the beach by the hotel is so convenient that it kind of spoils you because you start expecting this kind of treatment everywhere (and quickly realize it's only the expensive lux resorts that do this). And a big bonus - some of the water activities are already included when you stay with them. Simply let them know what you would like to do and when.

On Arrival, of their own accord, they upgraded us to a better Seaview Unit, which we really appreciated. It was our 4 th Anniversary. They also surprised us that evening with a bottle of Pink Rose Wine and Rose petals on our bed. Their Gift was a Great Blessing.
We ll definitely be back in the future.

we just loved La Maison d Ete. it is a beautiful intimiste boutique hotel. Everything about it is tasteful the decoration, the rooms all the social areas.
The sea view is spectacular, enjoying it from your sun bed.
it offers all the confort of a resort (spa, service, pool) without the impersonal part of the big hotels.
staff is amazing, Darel at the beach, Abhi the barman, the hotel director!
we are in love with this place and can’t wait to come back.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to stay at this vibrant hotel, but enjoyed our stay in the sister hotel. However, I spent a day at C Rodrigues and I had a very good time. The food and drinks at the beach bar were very good, service as well. Breakfast was good too.
I highly recommend people looking for an exciting and sporty stay to book at this hotel. According to our standards, we think that lots of nice spots are very accessible. You can book snorkeling trips at the boat house and our son did scuba diving with Bouba diving center (we didn't know that there were other diving centers around)

Loved this resort so much. The staff and food was exceptionnel and the only issue we had was the seaweed which came up to the becah on a high tide I would imagine? Shame as it cannot be helped but did make swimming in the sea less enjoyable and more difficult to access ! We have recommended this resort to our friends for their honeymoon next July so hope they like it as much as we did?
