It was lovely to sit outside and watch the monkeys climb the tree and cable to cross the street to the next building. The staff were exceptional, very helpful and always smiling big smiles. I will surely go back to this place !

I've stayed at the SAVV three times - once with my boyfriend on vacation and twice by myself on work trips to Penang. Each time was very pleasant. I especially liked the rooms with big windows and views of the sea and boats. The SAVV is a truly quiet oasis in George Town. It's not too near the bars and restaurants that open late so you can get a good night's sleep. What I loved best is the little pool area which is surrounded by big plants and flowers and the "treehouse." I worked from there many afternoons and it was such a nice environment to work from. The staff were friendly and remembered me from my previous stays.
