To all my fellow travellers: don't miss this place. It has just opened, they are still adding new services, and it is already a little wonder: The lodge, which is a little higher than the road, offers and magnificent view and it is placed very near to the entrance of Akagera national park. There is no closest hotel, except for those in the park itself; The rooms, which draw their character from the beautiful wooden style, are incredibly confortable, well designed, with a little terrasse perfect to read in this magic atmosphere; The swimming pool is simple but perfect to relax after the "African massage" of the safari road, with a beautiful view; The restaurant also points to the mountain in front, it has the same wooden style, a nice bar and a view to the kitchen to see the Chef in action; The place is also thought well so that it is serving and benefiting the community around: not only is it ecological and affordable, Akagera Park Inn buys its food from the local farmers, it is building a local shop to promote local crafts, it is working with local guides and massage centers, it aims to make its economic adventure an inclusive one that benefits the community. And of course, I have to mention the team who made everything to ensure that I had a good stay. For example, I received a warm welcome with fresh fruit mocktail and warm towel, they offered a little lunchpack for the safari, were extremely flexible with dinner and breakfast time, and put me in contact with the Ellie, a wonderful young guide who showed me around, took me for a brochette and some banana wine after the safari.

I really loved my stay on the island! I stayed for 3 days and it was nice and relaxing. Amazingly enough, I was the only guest the entire time I was there! The owners were wonderful and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and treated me like family. Big shout out to my main man Jean, the manager! He went above and beyond to make sure I had a memorable stay and is a great friend! The food, service and off island experiences were fantastic (Jean is an excellent tour guide and has tons of incredible side trips for you!) The island itself is beautiful and full of life. If you want to have a unique experience in nature, yet enjoy the luxury and comfort of home, then this is the perfect place for you! For me this was the experience of a lifetime! Book yourself a few days at very least, you won’t regret it!

Villa Asimba se nachází v destinaci Kigali a poskytuje ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a sdíleným loungem. Kigali Centenary Park je 4,7 km daleko. The Queendom of Asimba is a wonderfull place to stay. Very friendly, client oriented, communicative and hands-on treatment. Isabelle and Justine look for you, that you're enjoying your stay. Perfect breakfast, dinner was like early days at home (for me). They organised transport by a friendly and trustful taxi driver. I feld treated like a King but at an equal human level. The room (nr. 2) has a nice view on the valley and hill on the other side, was very clean, well-maintained, as well as the rest of the Villa Asimba. I can definately recommend a stay with Justine, Isabelle and the kind staff of the Queendom.

Karisimbi Cave Resort se nachází v destinaci Ruhengeri a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park je 45 km daleko. I absolutely loved everything about this property. Everyone is super friendly. Even got a little gift which I have been wearing every day since. The food was delicious - big portions. There was hot water and the shower was great. I can honestly not fault a single thing. It is a really peaceful environment.

We had an exceptional wonderful stay at Umurobyio Lodge. It's the perfect place to unwind and immerse oneself in the beautiful nature of Rwanda. The Lodge offers everything one would need for an unforgettable holiday.The scenic views from all angles over Lake Kivu are breathtaking. The staff were incredibly attentive, always helpful and friendly, catering to our needs with a warm smile. The hospitality of the owners and the whole team made us feel truly welcome. The food was a highlight - fresh, delicious, and healthy, a feast for both the eyes and the palate.  Our room was spotless, clean, and very comfortable, complete with a spacious balcony offering a fantastic view over the lake.  We had a wonderful experience and we can only recommend the Lodge for a perfect holiday.

Very beautiful and quiet place The view from the lodge ( and the shower !) and the restaurant isbreathtaking The staff is professional and very supportive and the food is really good Each lodge is new and clean, large, has a big bed, a big bathroom and a terrasse overlooking the AkageraPark. A discreet gem !

Homely cottage feeling , outside window botanical garden flowers in bloom. The staff is welcoming and attentive . Felt safe and protected Had good night sleep The room is cleaned daily. Nice breakfast served in your room if needed On leaving early morning, breakfast was prepared for me to take on my forward journey .

Eben Lake Kivu cottages and Villas se nachází v destinaci Kagano a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Národní park Nyungwe Forest je 42 km daleko. First off, this hotel is a hidden gem. Our tour company recommended their own suggestions and we were not pleased with them so we did our own research and I found this place. Wow! First off, it’s beautifully located right on Lake Kivu and is so relaxed and feels very safe with their own security. The room is beautiful, spacious, and has a great bathroom and patio. Moreover, the staff was outstanding and so attentive and communicative. And the food was outstanding on property. Breakfast is included so make sure to enjoy it. We also loved our dinner.
