Lovely and charming hotel, nice breakfast, bar just downstairs. Dog friendly and have your own en suite. Parking outside is free most days, but one day a week on market day you'd need to park elsewhere. Some pubs in the area too. Got a 20% discount for the Gondola from the hotel too, which is a 5 minute walk away and takes you straight to the capital.

Featuring views of San Marino and Montefeltro countryside, Hotel Joli is just 300 metres from the entrance to the historical centre. It offers free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms, and a restaurant. Superb Location at the bottom of the walk up to the towers at the top of Monte Titano and right beside the old train station square where the Bus from Rimini pulls in. Amazing views from bedroom out over surrounding mountain ranges. Room itself was great. Plenty of room for solo traveller in my twin room, clever recessed clothes storage instead of traditional wardrobe and comfy bed. A/C worked although wasn't needed in late September. Also, very quiet at night despite its centre of the action location. (Old part of San Marino is generally quiet at night). Very good bathroom with walk in shower and all spotlessly clean. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with standard continental style breakfast options.

Set in the heart of San Marino historic centre, some rooms offer views up to the borders of Tuscany, the Adriatic Sea and the Apennines. Every thing was perfect, clean, best location in the city

The staff were wonderful and the facility was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. It’s a hike up the hill but worth it. Mostly quiet location. Sometimes hear people walking by but not loud

Hotel Rosa is just 200 metres from Guaita Tower and has views across this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi and have satellite TV. Beautiful, very clean hotel in a beautiful location. Close to the castle, restaurants and shopping. Onsite parking. Great breakfast. Owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks Paolo!

Beautiful view from room and its balcony (we asked for one that does not face the office building next door)

Hotel Dogana is in San Marino, just off the Superstrada Rimini-San Marino motorway, and a 10-minute drive from the historic centre. Very clean, newly renovated. Great views from the roof

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Hotel La Rocca offers rooms in the historic centre of in San Marino. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. As a solo traveller, Donatella's kindness and all our interactions during breakfast and whenever I would pop in during the day made me feel very welcome and sort of looked after, it was quite nice. The place was, of course, clean and perfectly located, especially if you're going for the Giornate Medioevali: near the first tower, but far enough from the night festivities at Cava dei Balestrieri to be peaceful.
