Carl's Unique Inn & Conference Facilities is a 5-minute drive from Kim Sha Beach, and offers views over Simpson Bay Lagoon and the island’s green hills. Very nice Hotel with very friendly hotel staff, always ready to help. Rooms are clean and cozy. Loved it! The breakfast is great as well: You get a voucher and can go downstairs to the bakery for a hot drink, a cold drink, pastry of your choice and a sandwich custom made to your choice. I always took half of my breakfast to the beach as a snack. I had a very nice time here, would book it again! To get around it's best to take the bus from the main road. That works without problems and it is just a 10 min walk to the bus stop.

This boutique hotel is right on Great Bay Beach, St. Maarten, and offers spacious rooms with 30-inch flat-screen cable TVs. Captain Hodge Pier is a 7 minute drive away. This is downtown Phillipsburg. I did not expect a a resort atmosphere. The shops and location were perfect. The shops close earlier then I expected but it was off season. The staff was fabulous. They all went out of their way to make us feel special! From housekeeping, the security staff, the bartenders and the wait staff they couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. The beach chairs were nice with the extra cushion. Service was good. I wouldn't say a whole week but afew days was perfect!
