Every angle was perfect. The pools very perfect, both for swimming and playing for kids. The bar and restaurant was good, service was very attentive.

Well cleaned. The staff friendly. The service was quick. The owner was very welcoming.and surprised us with cake for my birthday 🎉.

We came from Paje, where we stayed at a hotel where staff and hotel where not so nice and service focussed, so coming here was such a relief and really felt like vacation. This is an amazing hotel! It is small and so nice!They implemented beautiful original african elements in the furniture and look of the hotel. The staff is amazing, very kind and giving good service. They give you the feeling of comfort and at home. Good security, who is always at the gate to open the door and is so friendly. The owners, same! Such amazing people, we got to know them during our stay and had such a nice evening with them. The food they serve is good quality, breakfast is also good (no buffet) and with small changes every day - fruit, egg and toast always and the side dishes change. The rooms are very clean, good mattresses and spacious. The closest beach is 2 min walk, nungwi beach is 6/7 min walk. We definitely recommend and will stay here again if we come back to Zanzibar.

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. Great place in the heart of Nungwi!! All you need is in a very near location to Babalao and Max is always available for any question. Fast speed internet, good food with good prices, transfers and tours available for better prices than rest of island, super clean acommodation and friendly staff you will find there. Great place!!

Located in Nungwi and with Nungwi Beach reachable within a few steps, Dhow Beach Boutique Hotel has a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a private beach area. We loved the location being on the beautiful Nungwi beach, great sunsets and a perfectly clean, modern hotel. The staff were so nice and helpful, very thoughtful as well, especially the ladies cleaning the rooms, we always had magnificent flower and towel arrangements and they were just so sweet. The receptionist is also so welcoming and kind. The staff in the restaurant were also very attentive and always coming to give more water if needed. The food was very tasty and well seasoned. The prices were reasonable (in dollars). The chicken and mango salad was to die for :). Bonus points for the breakfast as it was really yummy and different every day which really pleasantly surprised us. Debbie, one of the waitresses was such a golden girl, we really loved her and made real friends (we wish her luck for her upcoming wedding). The wifi was perfect with extenders all over the hotel, great for anyone looking to work from there or watch movies in the room. Overall, we had a great experience and really recommend this lovely boutique hotel.
