Located in Nungwi and with Nungwi Beach reachable within a few steps, Dhow Beach Boutique Hotel has a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a private beach area. We LOVED our stay here! It was amazing! The staff is wonderful - the waiters, the bartenders, the cooking staff, the receptionists, the chambermaids, the security… everyone so nice, welcoming and friendly. The lovely hotel manager Miryam was always there, always so caring and a great professional. The owner Ahmed - so hospitable and always there if you need anything. The room was super nice and clean, the bathroom was equipped with everything you might need, but the balcony… giving you a view to the most breathtaking sunsets in your life! The restaurant was great, so delicious food, and the staff always giving you attention like you are the most important person in the world. The breakfast was so tasty. Every morning while we waited for the breakfast we received a full plate of fresh fruits and a glass of fresh juice. We were impressed. If you stay there you should try the Dodoki grilled fish! The whole place is like a piece of paradise and you definitely feel like you’re in that paradise! Asante sana! Nawapenda marafiki!

Located in Kiwengwa, a few steps from Kiwengwa Beach, Seashore Beach hotel has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Just an amazing stay. Tina, the host, is incredibly attentive and helpful with everything, so is the staff (special thanks to Edina). Room was massive, clean, with all amenities and nice views to the pool and beach; restaurant opens till late and offers a fair variety of options in the menu. Feels like a resort with everything in it, but the opposite of crowded, which is great. Also, the area is quiet and well located in the island. We will definitely recommend it to any friend that visits Zanzibar.

Located in Matemwe, a few steps from Matemwe Beach, HEBE Bungalows Lodge has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. We had a great time right at the beachfront. It’s a very local experience. It’s a villages right nearby. My friends and I had a blast.

Bahati Sunset Bungalows Michamvi has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Michamvi. Offering a bar, the property is located within a few steps of Michamvi Kae Beach. This was hands down the best place to stay in Zanzibar! I was looking for somewhere quiet to relax with amazing sunset views, and this spot couldn’t have been more perfect. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the chef even taught me some Swahili! The staff were incredible: always friendly, attentive, and going out of their way to make sure everything was just right. It’s the little things that really stood out. On my last day, I had a late-night flight and was going to miss breakfast. Without me even asking, they packed one up for me to take on my trip. That kind of thoughtfulness says everything about how much they care for their guests. I’d 100% recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat if I get the chance to visit Zanzibar again!

The staff was super friendly, everything was super clean and looks very well maintained, you can tell that they care and pay attention to all details of the place to make it feel comfortable. The breakfast is always super good, loots of nice and fresh choices. The transport to the beach is very convenient. They organised all the tours and excursions we needed very easily and convenient

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. Very clean, serene, cozy and has back-up power. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is good, nice pool and surroundings. Also short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Located in Jambiani, a 4-minute walk from Jambiani Beach, Zanzi Soul Luxury Boutique Hotel provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach... Loved the energy of the place, it is a tuktuk ride away from Paje which is the part of the island I prefer. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The room itself had the perfect video of the water. I totally recommend this spot, and when I asked for a late check out they agreed right away. There is a restaurant inside the hotel that has fresh food and a great breakfast!

Located in Nungwi, a 5-minute walk from Nungwi Beach, Oasis Blu Beach Resort-Adults Only has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness center and a garden. It was remote but I liked that and it only has 17 rooms so a very quiet place. Exactly what I was looking for. Adults only and a spa on site. But the best feature was the staff. Excellent attention from the staff.

We loved the pool and the location , close to the beach and a very beautiful bar and restaurant at the front . The staff are amazing , rooms are also quite spacious also the showers are good .
