It was huge! The trails are well-kept and accessible. The pool was lovely and the cottages were perfect and very clean. Staff were extremely accommodating.

The staff were very receptive and respectful, they made sure to attend to my every need. The rooms were spotless, and their dinner and breakfast was superb. The environment is quite calm at all times, aleast for the night I spent and their top of the hill location gives you that atmospheric luxurious feel. A must stay for couples and work travel as well.

All the stay were great. We are vegan and the cook spoke with us upon arrival to be sure he understood our diet. He made amazing vegan meals for us!!

Just off the Main Street away from the traffic, helpful staff, lovely meals. I traveled solo and they helped me get to the national park for golden monkey trekking. Also amazing views to the volcanos

Itambira Island, Seeds of Hope is located in Chabahinga and features a garden and a bar. There's a terrace and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking.
Itambira Seeds of Hope has been one of the most special places we stayed at during our 2 month East Africa trip. Lake Bunyonyi and the islands are gorgeous to begin with. Seeds of Hope had very decent and good quality amenities: comfy beds, proper mosquitoe net (in Africa you will find out that not every mosquitoe net provided is functional, some of them won't cover the whole bed...etc. that wasn't the case), hot water. Yes, there were specific hours when they provided hot water and internet but that was understandable given the fact that you are really in a remote place. Overall the staff was a bit too serious (I was wondering if they were happy to live/work there) but cordial. The island is lovely to explore. Make sure you go up and visit the tiny school. The teacher lady there does an amazing job and you can even get to spend time with the kids. The views are gorgeous. We did the Batwa pygmy people tour which was nice (especially the sailing part) but a bit overrated. Instead stay here 2 nights min to relax, unwind, read and recover in between tiring periods of your trip. Totally worth it.

Located in Kisoro, 29 miles from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Gorilla Leisure Lodge has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.
Gorilla Leisure Lodge totally blew me away. If you’re heading to Bwindi for trekking, this place is it—don’t look any further. I’ve traveled around Uganda before, and this was definitely one of my top stays. The quality of the lodge is way beyond what you'd expect for the price. Everything was new and spotless, the food was delicious, and the overall value is unbeatable. A huge shoutout to Madinah and the rest of the team—the people at Gorilla Leisure Lodge are among the kindest I’ve ever met. They went out of their way to make sure I was smiling from start to finish. We went gorilla trekking at Rushaga gate (amazing!) and the lodge is just a 15-minute drive away. Unlike some who have to wake up at 4 AM to drive an hour and a half on rough roads, you’re super close to everything here. Gorilla Leisure Lodge is a hidden gem thats only 15 minutes away from the gate. My only regret is that we stayed just one night. It would have been perfect to return after trekking and unwind on the porch with the beautiful mountain views. I would have loved to see the sunset and soak up more of the lodge’s serenity. Gorilla Leisure Lodge is top-notch, and the warmth of the team makes you feel right at home. I’ve already recommended it to my family, and I’d definitely come back in a heartbeat!

Located in Kangulumira, 20 miles from Source of the Nile - Speke Monument, Adrift River Club provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.
The variety of scenic views of the Nile River. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The food was amazing. I truly appreciate their attentiveness.

Located in Entebbe, 1.3 miles from Sailors Herb Beach, JET VILLAS ENTEBBE ( JVE ) provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.
This is one of the best places I have been on Uganda, even compared to more expensive lodges. Huge and comfortable beds with good mosquito nets, bathrooms with good hot water showers and toletries, even with bathrobes and slippers. The services are amazing: hot and cold drinking water in the bedrooms and in the common areas, plugs for your devices everywhere, even on the terrace, friendly staff who are always there for you. There is a chef who cooks simple, but fresh and express food. The premises are quiet and pleasant, out of the chaotic main road and right in the middle of the local community.

Facing the beachfront, Paradise Eco-Hub offers 3-star accommodations in Kabale and has a garden, private beach area and shared lounge.
I loved my stay at Paradise Eco-Hub. the location was breathtaking, the staff incredibly kind and accommodating and the food delicious (esp liked my crayfish biryani). If you’re undecided which island to chose while heading to Lake Byunyoni, don’t think twice! great value for money. I was thinking that wifi would be too poor to get some work done, but in fact it worked seamlessly. I was even able to do video calls! we were just a few tourists though so that could explain that. I loved my birding tours with Tom, he’s amazing!
