The manager was very accommodating, when he saw I was handicapped he put us into a handicapped room with 2 bathrooms, second had walk in shower. He left his office and helped me with luggage. Very nice man. Room was very clean with plenty of soap, towels, etc. We asked if we could stay a second day and he made the appropriate arrangements so we could. Motel was directly across street from Sovereign Hill so touring was easy. Parking was directly outside the room.

We wanted to stay in an historical setting in the heart of Ballarat. It was interesting to see the buildings from the Gold Rush time that occurred in Australia. Very nice architectural details from the 19th century.

The room was clean. Although the shower is due a deep clean (grout). Good facilities. I liked having a balcony. Great sized TV and aircon. Very convenient having the toiletries in the shower and lovely clean towels.

The Sebel Creswick Forest Resort is located in Creswick, just 10 miles from Ballarat Train Station and 8.1 miles from Mars Stadium.
