Having stayed at most of the other major hotels in the Cairns CBD, I'd rate this as my favourite. The friendly and helpful staff, the understated yet elegant decor, the fantastic water pressure and especially the elevators -the longest I had to wait after pressing a lift call button was 7 seconds. Most of the time it was around 3. The hotel has 7 floors and only 3 elevators so I have no idea how they managed to pull off this piece of stage magic.

Ideally located in the central business district of Cairns, Queensland, this dream destination is located just off the Esplanade, only a short stroll from the main Cairns shopping precinct.

- The pool is amazing - The staff were really nice (1 or 2 didnt really have a personality) - I was able to check in by noon - The food was really good - I was happy being given a top floor room, even though the palm trees meant I had no view of anything at all
