Staff is top notch from Emannuel the GM to Danni the Reception Clerk. Always available to help and provided excellent hospitality. Lobby is great to have some wine and chit chat, Breakfast was always fresh and good. Wish it would have started at 6 versus 7. Location is 1.5 blocks from the main train station and walking distance to shops restaurants and old town. Area is QUIET at night.

Close to bus stop & train station; we got the Tourist Pass (when you stay 3 nights or more) and can use the bus and trolley for free in the whole city and part of trains.

Only the name reminds us of the military. This historic hotel is one of the most beautiful in Switzerland.

I liked the public space... the outdoor covered seating on the street, the art and bright colors on the corridor walls, and the small kitchen. It felt cheerful during our rainy 3 day stay. The room was spacious with ample closet space and balcony with views of nearby forested hills. Perfect location for exploring city.
